A New Way to Learn
Jennifer Dixon is a state certified interpreter for over 10 years now and has interpreted in setting such as: K-12, higher education, freelance and has been working as a VRS interpreter for over 7 years now. She is currently in the process of becoming NIC certified. Jennifer has been mentoring interpreters, who have had proven success with her program for over 3 years now. She has a master's degree in instructional technology and learning sciences (ITLS). ITLS is teaching people through technology in a way that is fun and will make the learning stick. This program was developed as part of Jennifer's creative project for her degree. It started out as an idea and surprisingly exploded into something real very quickly. She hopes that through this program, other interpreters will benefit from a different approach and have fun in the process to achieving any goal they've made for themselves!
